About The Project

ShinE represents a pioneering educational endeavor aimed at elevating the European Union’s focus on vocational education and training (VET), while advocating for comprehensive education in energy efficiency and the cultivation of green skills among all students. The project’s core objective is to innovate maintenance and repair curricula within vocational and technical education schools, specifically targeting departments related to solar energy, with the aim of enhancing the anticipation and prevention of malfunctions in solar energy systems. Through the development of a novel educational platform tailored for VET learners to address potential solar energy system malfunctions, and the creation of educational materials for its integration into relevant vocational training programs, ShinE seeks to validate the efficacy of a digital educational platform containing diverse resources on solar energy and maintenance practices. This platform, categorized as a digital innovation, is envisioned to serve as a comprehensive resource for upper secondary education, fostering inclusivity by enabling teachers to leverage it for educational purposes. Smart Innovative Solutions for Solar Energy in VET endeavors to address the dearth of modern educational materials for vocational education across different countries, facilitated through collaboration with project partners and stakeholders in vocational education and industry.
